Privacy Policy
Streamora is operated by Digit Solution Ltd. This policy covers the Streamora app, website, customer portal, activation service and reseller services. The information processed depends on the features you use; not every category below is collected from every user.
Information sent by the app and device
- Device identity and authentication: Device ID, Device Key, platform, device model, app version and country code when supplied. We use these to register and recognise a device, authenticate requests and bind activation to the correct device. Device Keys are checked using hashes; an encrypted copy can be retained for authorised Super Admin verification and key changes.
- Activation and connection records: trial or paid activation type and status, activation and expiry dates, account/device links, registration time, last-seen, heartbeat, synchronisation and error timestamps, app state (foreground, background, playing or idle), network status and the current app page. These support activation, device management and service availability.
- Technical diagnostics, when enabled and sent by the app: app-start, session, synchronisation, playback, buffering, playlist, programme-guide and network events; event time, severity and diagnostic messages; and available diagnostic details such as response time, HTTP status, codec, container, player engine, playback/buffering duration and reachability checks. These help identify faults and improve reliability. Supported diagnostic reports filter sensitive credentials and playlist URLs; playlists supplied for normal service are processed separately as described below.
Information you provide or synchronise
- Account and sign-in information: name, email address, password hash, account role/status, account creation/update dates, device links and authentication/session records. Sign-in records can include IP address, browser/device user-agent, session creation, last-use and expiry times. Password-reset, email-verification and additional authentication records are processed when those features are used. Account information is provided through registration/sign-in or account management; an unlinked TV does not need to provide a name or email solely to register its device.
- Playlists and media preferences: playlist name/type, playlist and programme-guide URLs, any source usernames/passwords embedded in a supplied URL, assigned device, enabled status and refresh times. Where supported and used, we also process profile names/settings, favourites, recently viewed/history entries, media identifiers/titles/metadata, playback position and duration, category visibility/order and programme reminders. Playlist and programme-guide URLs stored on the server are encrypted. This information enables your chosen sources, synchronisation and resume/preferences features.
- Purchases, activation and reseller credits: order and transaction identifiers, linked account/device/reseller, activation product, amount, currency, payment provider/reference, payment/order status and timestamps. Reseller services additionally process supplied name, email, company details, reseller relationships, credit balances, purchases, transfers and ledger entries. Payment details entered at a payment provider are processed under that provider's privacy policy.
- Support and service communications: contact details and message contents you submit, ticket/support-chat records, related device or order references, and diagnostic information shared through support features. Where a consent-based support-code feature is used, we record the consent and code/session validity. Service notification records can include delivery/status and read timestamps.
Website connections and local storage
Requests to our website and API expose a connection IP address and browser/device request information to our infrastructure; authentication and security records can retain IP addresses and user-agent information. The app and website also use local storage or equivalent device storage for identity/authentication, preferences, playlist/catalogue caches and playback state, according to the features used.
How the information is used and accessed
We use this information to operate accounts and activation, provide requested playback and synchronisation features, process purchases/credits, answer support requests, diagnose errors and prevent abuse. Access depends on the role: authorised administrators can manage devices and service records; a reseller managing your activation can access records within that reseller's assigned scope. Full Device Key access and key changes are restricted to authorised Super Admin controls. Service and payment providers process information needed for their functions. A playlist or media provider receives connection requests when its sources are accessed and applies its own privacy policy.
Your media
Streamora does not provide channels or media subscriptions. You are responsible for ensuring that you are authorised to access every source you add. Do not include unnecessary personal information in playlists, source URLs or support messages.
Security and retention
Account passwords are hashed, and sensitive stored values such as playlist URLs and retained Device Keys are encrypted where applicable. Data is retained only while necessary to operate accounts and services, comply with law and prevent abuse. Retention varies by record type; this policy does not state a fixed period for all records.
Privacy requests
For questions or requests concerning access, correction or deletion of your information, contact privacy@stream-ora.com. Provide enough information to identify the relevant account or device without emailing passwords or Device Keys.
